You are gathered in the dark because each of you was handed the same sealed envelope with the same order: open it only when everyone is present. Inside is a single truth about one of you that, once read aloud, changes everything — a lie lived for years, a debt owed, a face that was never real. The seal is broken now, and whoever's secret it is knows it, sitting very still, deciding whether to confess before the others say the words.
